Półmrok
Paintings and drawings by Damian Leszczyński in the Wiedermann House in Pruszcz Gdański
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Howard Philip Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu
“Now I know, I guess. The kingdom of man is finished.”
Guy de Maupassant, Le Horla
Damian Leszczyński's suggestive and disturbing works came to the Wiedermann House. Pencil works from numerous cycles created over the years, supplemented with oil paintings on boards, presented in atmospherically arranged historic interiors.
